Luma is goddess of fire—passionate, hot-headed, and tired of being told to calm her element. When she gets too warm and cozy in her brother Baric’s woods, his anger ignites her pent-up rage. But her scathing insults only seem to temper his bad mood. He caves to her demands, providing her a remote area of the planet to set ablaze unhindered. The only stipulation is she must contain herself within boundaries she is free to set.
But as her wildfire grows, so does her desire. Her fire becomes a glorious force that even she struggles to control. Soon it even begins harboring a life of its own. Unable to tame her own creation, she has the burning suspicion she might have been outsmarted by her crafty brother.
Does Luma have the inner fire to demolish the one ravaging the planet? Or will the planet’s need for a fire goddess go up in flames?
