Frivolity Higgs never underestimates the gravity of a situation, especially since this usually lands her on her rear. So when she’s sent to investigate the meaning of a mysterious letter seemingly authored by someone living on an asteroid—one on course to hit a planet—she refuses to leave that rock unturned.
With partner Eman Galant and her zero gravity boots in tow, Frivolity must figure out the dynamics between a ruthless king and the threat orbiting his planet. Although with Eman along, she may find herself more vulnerable to matters of the heart than life or death. Of course, she much prefers the latter.
This is the second short story in my Space Tales series. It is about 9,700 words (35 pages).
